However, in the event of any unplanned delivery disruption, you can elect to use your own provider such as Fedex, etc. Specific details regarding this option are denoted in the sections below.
Shipping Rate Calculations
The cart will do a basic calculation based on your order's total pre-tax value. If by any chance there is an unexpected error on the cart calculation, be assured we will always review order details the during the processing activities. If need be with an update on your order, and contact you with the details of any changes to your order status.
As an example, actual shipping rate calculations must tkae into consideration the overall weight or cubic volume of items within your order. Specifically, a small heavy item as compared to a large light weight may be reflected in the cost more to ship simply based on its value
There are also options within Canada to use Canada Post's "Flat Rate" boxes, Such options are Not eligible for international deliveries.
Canada Post limits the contents to a maximum of 5kg, or approximately 11lbs of contents regardless of the box size.

Regardless of what cart or service is used, or shipping software the accurate calculation for the most viable and accurate box size and shipping cost is a challenge for all websites. All providers only give estimates. Perhaps you too have received the delivery off a small item in a huge unneceaarily large box. We will try to ensure the best options are used.
Our best solution
Is to offer a baseline shipping cost, and pending the specifics of your order, we will review the shipping cost for a suitable way for your order's delivery. That could mean prior to shipping, we will contact you advising of any change to the previously identified shipping cost and either refund you the difference, or ask if you wish to cotiue with the revised order total before we proceed with the order.
Local Customers to Us (i.e. Western Newfoundland - in the area of Corner Brook of NL, Canada)
Those customers who choose to come and pickup your items, we suggest the following:

- When you have completed your selections, and when you reach the Checkout Page, you should make a note confirming your Local Pickup wishes in the Comments Section on the lower left side of the Check-out page.
- When we get to processing your order, we reachout to you to coordinate a mutually convienent time for you to drop by and pick it up.

Orders Within the rest of Canada
If your item is small enough to fit in a mail slot and is $20 or less (and within Canada only), you may contact us to request that your package to be sent by stamped mail.
We cannot and do not guarantee or insure any package sent by stamp. All other packages, will be sent via either tracked and insured means via Canada Post. Prices will vary depending on your distance relative to Newfoundland.
Orders to the USA
** Due to recent changes and related administrative shipping requirements with the USA, we are for the timebeing suspending all related order requests.
International Orders
International orders will be sent by Canada Post to your country and passed for delivery to your own postal system. Mail to overseas addresses can sometimes take up to 2 months. Please be patient. Be sure to include your phone number and/or email address in case we need to contact you. Additional charges may need to be assessed by weight, size of box and your final location. All orders need to be on a Visa or MasterCard with a signature on the order form, or through PayPal online. In the event there is an issue with the website’s calculated shipping costs we will email you with clear detailed regarding any postal charge adjustments. Of course, any adjustment must be pre-paid before the package can is shipped.
*Note: You are responsible for any and all customs(tariff)/brokerage fees that may be incurred. These charges are out of our control.
**Note: Once the packages leave our shop, we have no more control over its delivery. We can trace a package that you believe has gone missing, but only after 45 business days* (Canada) 60 business days* (for the USA) and 72 business days* (International orders). Please email us if you want us to initiate the tracking process on your behalf.
Other Postal Services
If you would like your parcel sent out by another method other than Canada Post, you will have to arrange for both the shipping label and the pickup yourself. We will not create the shipping label for you, nor will we charge your own personal delivery account with whatever carrier you are choosing to use. Please contact us by email us if you wish to choose this option.
Wholesale Orders
We do not generally offer Wholesale as a method for purchasing our products. However, if that is something you would like to discuss we would suggest you email us with your proposal and we can discuss the business viability going forward.
